The music was used in the Marists, hospitals of Al-Andalus and throughout the Middle East, by the sages of ancient times as a form of medicine along with alchemical preparations and medicinal herbs.
The science of the makams (oriental scales) was used by specialized musicians who went to hospitals to treat the sick of all kinds of ailments, even hospitals specialized in this music to cure.
What prevents us from rescuing this treasure, this medicine of the soul that was applied with a holistic conception of the human being, that has no side effects and that also helps to unify people with their inner being?
